Fan Cards
A stack of cards held like a hand: at rest they overlap in a tight pile, on hover they fan out along an arc with each card rotated around a shared pivot below the stack, and hovering one card lifts it clear. Clicking brings a card to the front.
The mechanic
Cards share `transform-origin: 50% 320%`; at rest `rotate(calc(var(--i) × 2deg))`, on hover of the hand `rotate(calc((var(--i) − 2) × 12deg))`, 0.5 s `cubic-bezier(.34,1.3,.64,1)` with `transition-delay: var(--i) × 30ms`. Hovering a card adds `translateY(-18px)`; clicking sets its `z-index` above the rest and nudges the others back.
