A seafood restaurant's reviews as one long band of big quotes that drifts slowly sideways and answers the page: scroll down and it surges ahead, scroll up and it runs backwards, then it settles to its idle drift; each quote carries its publication and stars, hovering or focusing holds it still, and a pause button stops it altogether.
The mechanic
The band borrows the reader's momentum: scroll speed is added to its drift and decays back, so the quotes move with you instead of on their own schedule, and direction follows yours.
