Post Cards with Hover Expand
A wall of social posts in three columns where every card shows a three-line preview; hover or focus one and it expands in place over its neighbours to the full post and the company's reply, without shoving the rest of the wall around.
The mechanic
Two measured heights per card as custom properties (`--h` collapsed, `--f` full) and an overlay inner card: `max-height: var(--h)` → `var(--f)` over 380 ms with `z-index` raised, and the clamp is only re-applied after the collapse transition ends, so text never snaps short mid-animation.

The preview is the shipped block inside a neutral demo page. Scroll, hover, drag: everything is live.
- 02Pick a palette
Token sets re-tint the block live. The prompt carries the one you chose.
- 03Pick your stack
A paste-in snippet, or a component for Next.js, React, Vue, Astro, WordPress, Shopify or Webflow.
- 04Copy the prompt
It quotes the block's markup, styles and script verbatim with the tokens and the rules that keep it self-contained.
