Coming soon pages with a reason to sign up

A coming-soon page has to make a date or a promise feel real and collect an email. Each of these picks a different kind of proof: a countdown, a production timeline, your place in a queue, a first look at the content, or sign-ups happening live.

If the launch has a referral loop, use Gradient Waitlist or the Pocketfern template. If it has a fixed date, Flip Countdown. If the product itself is the draw, Typewriter Teaser or the ambient film loop lets it speak first.

The 10 layers, in order

  1. Days, hours, minutes and seconds on split-flap cards, with a notify form that shakes on a bad address and draws a tick on success.

  2. One email field and a burst of confetti from the button on sign-up, beside a fanned stack of sample journal pages.

  3. The launch as a production run: real milestones pinned along one bar and a reserve form that asks for a size.

  4. Joining turns the form into your place in the queue, with a referral link and a slider showing how invites move you up.

  5. N° 0640 · consumer hardware/waitlist

A full pre-launch template rather than a holding page: email form, a live queue that ticks up, a referral ladder and a spec sheet.

  6. An open-source release on a dark grid where packets route between nodes and the pointer becomes one, with an install command and a form.

  7. Almost all type: a Paris-time analog clock, the opening date and the wait written out in words.

  8. The opening lines of a first issue typing onto a ruled sheet beside the contents, so the writing sells the launch.

  9. A twelve-second ambient film drawn on canvas with a pause button and timecode, the form laid over it.

  10. A sign-up block with today's count ticking up and avatars sliding into a stack. Add it under any of the pages above.
