The panel sits in the dark with one pool of light: a soft torch beam follows the hand and reveals the text and tiles beneath, with a faint accent rim at the edge of the pool. Everything outside the beam stays dimmed to a whisper.
An overlay `::after` paints `radial-gradient(circle at var(--x) var(--y), transparent 0, transparent 90px, accent@10% 120px, bg@92% 220px)`. The script updates `--x/--y` on pointermove with a 0.12 lerp so the beam swings; the beam rests at the centre of the block before the first move and stays where the pointer left it, so the panel is never fully dark; `--r` is a registered property so a host can animate the radius (for example to 0 on leave).

It quotes the markup, styles and script verbatim with the tokens and the rules that keep it self-contained.
It inherits your page's font and width; the tokens live on :root; several instances share one script.
