A floating action button that blooms into an arc of five actions: each item flies out along its own angle with a small overshoot and a 30 ms stagger, the plus icon turns 45° into a close, and the items retract in reverse. Keyboard users tab through the arc once it is open.
The mechanic
Items sit at the FAB centre with `transform: translate(0,0) scale(0.4)`; `.open` moves each to `translate(calc(cos(var(--a)) × 96px), calc(sin(var(--a)) × −96px)) scale(1)` with `cubic-bezier(.34,1.5,.64,1)` over 0.4 s and `transition-delay: var(--i) × 30ms`; closing reverses the order via `calc((4 − var(--i)) × 30ms)`. The FAB icon rotates 45° on the same beat. Angles run 180° to 90° (left to up) in 22.5° steps.
